Welcome to Luke’s Farm House, a lovingly restored 1931 cedar homestead that sits at the heart of Stockyard Creek. Once the family home of Luke O’Reilly, this timeless farmhouse carries the warmth of generations past, reimagined for modern gatherings, slow living, and memory-making.

Crafted from cedar grown and milled on the property, the house breathes history in every beam and board. Inside, you’ll find four spacious bedrooms with flexible king bedding, two charming country-style bathrooms, and open, welcoming spaces made for shared meals, quiet mornings, and fireside chats.

Whether you’re here to celebrate with loved ones or simply escape into nature’s stillness, Luke’s Farm House offers an authentic, elevated country experience, where the views are vast, the pace is gentle, and the connection runs deep.

Surrounded by rolling hills and farm life, you’ll wake to the sound of cattle, explore scenic trails to Luke’s Bluff or Ding Bing Falls, and unwind by the fire under a sky full of stars. Q: Can we walk through the paddocks?
A: Yes with caution; for your safety and the protection of our livestock, please keep a safe distance from cattle and do not approach or feed them.

Q: Can we swim in the creek or at Ding Bing Falls?
A: Ding Bing Falls is a scenic spot, but the rocks can be slippery and conditions unpredictable. For your safety, we recommend enjoying the view from the banks only.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No. For the safety of livestock and native wildlife, pets are not permitted on the property.

Q: Is the accommodation self-contained?
A: Yes - each farmhouse is fully self-contained with kitchen facilities, bathrooms and all essentials provided.

Q: Are children welcome?
A: Absolutely - Stockyard Creek is family-friendly, but please supervise children around livestock, fences and bush areas.

Q: Is there Wi-Fi or mobile reception?
A: We have Starlink in both farmhouses, however mobile coverage may be patchy elsewhere on the property. We encourage you to take the opportunity to unplug and enjoy the slower pace of farm life.

Q: What should we bring?
A: Sturdy walking shoes, warm layers for cool nights, groceries and any personal items. We provide all linen and towels.

Q: Is the road suitable for all vehicles?
A: Whilst regular vehicles can access the property, the roads on the property are unsealed so 4WD or high clearance vehicles are more practical - especially in wet conditions.

Q: Can we book tours or spa treatments during our stay?

A: Yes, Guests can book tours, spa treatments and other experiences through O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat Reception.

Q: Is it safe to drink the water from the taps?
A:
Yes it is. Each farmhouse has a complete water filtration system installed, with ultraviolet protection. We are on tank water so please use water wisely. 

Wildlife is common -
please wear enclosed shoes and insect repellent when walking outdoors. Please refrain from feeding the birds or other wildlife.
